Rockfire Capital is headquartered in Southampton and is proud to support its local teaching hospital.

Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust is a training and research centre and Hampshire’s lead specialist for children’s intensive care.

Rockfire supports the neonatal intensive care unit and the paediatric intensive care unit, both of which are essential resources within Southampton’s acclaimed maternity provision.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is one of the largest neonatal units in the country and treats around 750 newborns per year, from as far west as Dorchester to Basingstoke and the Channel Islands.

The Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) looks after around 1,000 children per year, up to the age of 18. It is the sixth largest PICU in the UK by number of admissions and has one of the best survival rates. Children are referred from hospitals as far afield as Plymouth, Milton Keynes and the Channel Islands.

Rockfire plans to extend its giving with the launch of a charitable foundation that will benefit from an annual share in any profit made by Rockfire.
